Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa powder, divided
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 3/4 cups hot water
How To Make hot fudge cake

Step 1In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons of the cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, oil and vanilla. Stir till smooth. Spread mixture in an ungreased 9x9 pan.

Step 2Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa.Sprinkle over the cake batter.

Step 3Pour the hot water over both the batter and sugar/cocoa mixture. DO NOT STIR!

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm topped with whipped cream, ice cream, or nothing but a big glass of milk on the side.
