Hot chocolate cake in a mug
For the cake you will need
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp oil
For the icing you will need
1 teaspoon water (more if needed)
Spray mug with nonstick spray for best results.
Put dry ingredients marked cake into the mug.
Crack the egg into the mug. Stir a bit after adding the egg so the cup doesn't overflow.
Add water and oil. Stir until thoroughly moistened. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the mug with your spoon to avoid dry ingredients left in the bottom.
Put the mug in the microwave on high and set the timer for 3 minutes
As it bakes, a cylinder of cake will start to rise out of the mug. But it goes back down afterwards.
Serve with icing.
To make icing put contents of baggie marked icing in a small dish and mix with enough water to make it barely spreadable. It will turn to glaze on the hot cake.
