My family had a picnic and I found this recipe in a local church cookbook. I didn't taste it at first, but everyine loved it. I had to email the recipe to my cousin this afternoon!! She is going to email it to everyone! This one is a do over and over!!

Ingredients

1 box (large) vanilla cook and serve pudding mix
1 box yellow cake mix
12 ounces bag butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped pecans

How To Make hornet's nest cake

Step 1

Prepare pudding per instructions.

Step 2

Stir in cake mix. Stir well.
Step 3

Pour into greased 13x9-inch cake pan.
Step 4

Sprinkle butterscotch chips and pecans on top.
Step 5

Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
