This recipe was given to me by an old friend I have lost touch with. Everytime I make it I think about her :) It is one of our favorites.

Ingredients

1 package fudge cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
2 - beaten eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
ICING
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
6 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips

How To Make hope's chocolate cherry cake

Step 1

Mix the first 4 ingredients together. Pour into greased 13x9 pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 mins.

Step 2

Boil the first 3 ingredients for 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and stir until melted then pour over cake.
