These are a new creation that I thought turned out pretty well. I think they would be even better served with a scoop of banana ice cream on top. Let me know what ya think!

Banana and chocolate is a fantastic flavor combination. Add honey roasted peanut butter and, oh my! These bars are heavenly and similar in texture to a blondie. They are fluffy, chewy, and totally addictive.

Ingredients For honey peanut butter banana chocolate chip bars

  • 1/4 c
    margarine (softened)
  • 3/4 c
    Peter Pan Honey Roasted Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1-2
    ripe bananas, mashed (1/2 cup total needed)
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
  • Margarine, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs in a bowl.

    In a mixing bowl, add margarine, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Mix together until creamed.
  • Mixing in mashed bananas, baking soda, and salt.

    Add in the mashed bananas, baking soda, and salt. Give it another good mix.
  • Slowly adding flour to mixture.

    Add flour 1/2 cup at a time. Mix in well.
  • Adding chocolate chips.

    Then add the chocolate chips and give it another quick stir.
  • Smoothing batter in the baking dish.

    Place in a non-stick 9x13 cake pan. Smooth it all the way around the pan evenly.
  • Banana bars cooling on a wire rack.

    Then place in oven to bake around 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
