Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest, grated
  • 1 cup orange juice, fresh
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make honey cake

  • Step 1
    PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. GREASE & FLOUR A 9X13 PAN. SIFT TOGETHER THE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, BAKING SODA, SALT & CINNAMON. SET ASIDE.
  • Step 2
    IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE SUGAR, HONEY, OIL, EGGS & ORANGE ZEST. BEAT IN THE FLOUR MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH THE ORANGE JUICE, MIXING JUST UNTIL INCORPORATED. POUR BATTER INTO PREPARED PAN.
  • Step 3
    BAKE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN FOR 40 TO 50 MINUTES OR UNTIL A TOOTHPICK INSERTED INTO THE CENTER OF THE CAKE COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL BEFORE CUTTING.
