Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow or butter cake mix
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2/3 cup oil ( i prefer canola)
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ICING/FROSTING
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make honey bun cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 13x9 cake pan. Blend cake mix, eggs, oil and sour cream. Blend together for 4 mins. Pour 1/2 of cake batter into pan. Set aside. In a small bowl mix brown sugar & cinnimon then sprinkle over batter in pan. Spread the remainder of the batter over the filling mixture and gently smooth it out. Bake in oven for 30-40 mins.
  • Step 2
    Mix together the Icing ingredients until smooth. When cake is cooled then pour Icing over cake, serve & enjoy.
