I make this every so often. Some times I add in a few drops of food coloring if I wanna give the cake a freaky look to it lol...

Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups cake flour
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 cup cold water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 - eggs, whites
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
How To Make homemade white cake...

Step 1Heat oven to 350F.

Step 2Then mix together the wet ingredients in a meduim bowl, all but the egg & suagr. hen add sift together the dry ingredenits in a large bowl. Then slowly add the dry to wet & mix on low speed until batter is smooth.

Step 3In a medium bowl beat the egg whites & sugar until frothy. Then add in the cream of tartar & continue to beating until egg whites are stiff.

Step 4Then gradually fold this mixer into the batter & make sure not to over mix.

Step 5Pour into 2 waxed paper lined 9-inch layer pans.

Step 6Then bake for about 35 to 40 mins. Then frost as you wish.
