Just another homemade cake I have made before. It good & easy to make...

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups cake flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 - eggs
1 1/4 cups sugar

How To Make homemade chocolate cake...

Step 1

Heat oven 350F. In a large bowl sift together the first 4 ingredients.

Step 2

Then add the next 3 ingredients & beat until very smooth.
Step 3

Then in a separate bowl beat the eggs until thick & foamy. Then gradually add in the sugar & continue beating until well mixed.
Step 4

Then add into the first bowl & mix well.
Step 5

Pour into 2 waxed paper lined 8-inch cake pans.
Step 6

Bake for about 35 to 40 mins.
