Mmmmmmmmmm! One of my favorites! Amaretto & Pepsi: Tastes kind of like Cherry Pepsi...I love it! Then of course, Amaretto Stone Sour. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! Pour it over vanilla ice cream. Bake in cakes, brownies, etc.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons pure almond extract
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups vodka (the cheapest you can find works best!)
How To Make homemade amaretto
-
Step 1Into a heavy bottom sauce pan add: water, sugars & bring to a boil. Cook until sugars are well dissolved. Remove from heat & allow to cool for approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour.
-
Step 2Add extracts & vodka. Mix to combine.
-
Step 3Pour Amaretto into desired bottles/jars & cap. Place chalkboard label (just like a chalkboard - erase & re-write over & over again) on jar & store in a cool/dry location. But where to get the bottles? World Market: http://www.worldmarket.com/search.do?query=glass+bottles+with+clamps How about those chalkboard labels?
