This is my husband's grandmother's recipe. It was handwritten on an index card, and the directions were very brief. I expect she knew pretty well how to make it without a recipe!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 - eggs
- 1 jar mincemeat (28 oz.)
- 1 can eagle brand condensed milk
- 2 cups candied mixed fruit
How To Make holiday fruitcake

Step 1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Step 2Sift flour and baking soda together.

Step 3Combine eggs, mincemeat, condensed milk, and fruit.

Step 4Fold in dry ingredients.

Step 5Pour into prepared pan (the original recipe didn't say what size - perhaps a loaf pan or a tube pan?).

Step 6Bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
