Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 - eggs
- 2 1/4 cups cake flour, sifted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 8 ounces jar of red marachino cherries, snipped in pieces
- 8 ounces jar of green marachino cherries, snipped in pieces
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- GLAZE -
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make holiday cream cheese cake

Step 1Preheat oven: 325 degrees...Grease tube pan; set aside.

Step 2In large bowl: cream together cream cheese, butter, sugar & vanilla. Add eggs; 1 at a time. Gradually add 2 cups of flour & baking powder.

Step 3In smaller bowl: add the remaining 1/4 cup flour, red & green cherries, & nuts; mix together till coated with the flour. Add this mixture to the creamed mixture until well combined.

Step 4Pour in the prepared pan & bake for 1 hour 20 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes & remove from pan.

Step 5GLAZE - Mix together the confectioners sugar & milk; drizzle over cake.
