SIMPLE! This cake is so decadent, but so easy...and everyone loves it!

Ingredients

  • 1 - angle food cake(bought or home-made)
  • 6 ounces evaporated milk (1/2 of large can)
  • 1 large frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces sour cream (regular, light, or fat free)
  • 1 quart fresh strawberries,capped, washed and sliced
  • 1 package strawberry glaze

How To Make heavenly strawberry cake

  • Step 1
    Mix sliced strawberries and glaze together. DO NOT add any sugar. Set to side
  • Step 2
    Mix sour cream, sugar, and milk in LARGE bowl. Stir in thawed whipped topping, mixing well. Crumble angle food cake(large crumbles) and stir into whipped topping mixture. Pour in 9 x 13 pan. Smooth top.
  • Step 3
    Spread strawberry/glaze mixture over top of cake mixture. (spoon over cake mixture, then spread). Cover, and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Step 4
    Will keep several days...if you have any left.
