I get the heath bar bits with milk chocolate from the baking aisle of the grocery store (much easier than crushing those candy bars, but I have done both). Sometimes I sprinkle chopped pecans on top too but not always.... enjoy

How to Make Heath Bar Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare cake mix and bake according to package directions using a 13 x 9 pan.
  2. While cake is warm punch holes in cake and drizzle with carmel topping. Let sit in fridge for a while until cool.
  3. Frost with container of cool whip which has been unthawed.
  4. Sprinkle with Heath bars. Put in fridge another hour to firm up. Enjoy
