  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    pineapple, crushed with juice
  • 1/2 c
    sweetened coconut
  • 1/3 c
    canola oil
  • 3
  • 1/2 c
    apple sauce
  • 2/3 c
  • 1/2 c
    mashed bananas ripe
  • 1 c
    macadamian nut or any nut you like

How to Make Hawaiian Cake


  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl except nuts, stir to combine. Add cake mix. Beat with a cake mixer add nuts stir.
  2. Pour in greased & floured 13x9 cake pan. Bake 350 for 25-35 min until center is done.
  3. Bake at 350 for 25-35 min until toothpick comes out clean. Great without icing, if you must, I suggest cream cheese frosting.
