    sugar
  • 1 c
    margarine
  • 6 large
    very ripe bananas mashed
  • 4
    eggs well beaten
  • 2 1/2 c
    cake flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Hawaiian Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. cream sugar and margarine. add eggs & mashed bananas.
  2. sift cake flour,salt and baking soda 3 times. blend cake flour mixture into banana mixture. DO NOT OVERMIX. i mix by hand. not a mixer.
  3. turn batter into 2 greased 9x5 loaf pans. pre-heat oven to 325. bake for 55 minutesor until toothpick comes out clean. turn out to cool. also if you like you can add pecans. very good with pecans.
