An Oldie, but Goodie! My mom got this recipe from a tag on her Galliano bottle way back in the 1970's. For years, it was her signature dessert. I resurrected the recipe a few Easter's ago. It's a wonderful treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 3.5 oz packages instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 5 ounces galliano liqueur
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar

How To Make harvey wallbanger cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour on 10 inch bundt pan.
  • Step 2
    Combine cake mix and pudding mix in a large bowl. Blend in eggs, vegetable oil, 4 oz Galliano, 1 oz vodka and 4 oz of orange juice. Mix batter until smooth and thick. Pour into prepared pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove and place on cooling rack for another ten minutes, place on cake dish.
  • Step 4
    While cake is cooling make glaze. Combine remaining 1 oz Galliano, 1 oz vodka and 1 oz orange juice with confectioner's sugar. Blend until smooth. Spoon over warm cake. I double the glaze recipe, it tastes better with more stuff. Enjoy~
