An Oldie, but Goodie! My mom got this recipe from a tag on her Galliano bottle way back in the 1970's. For years, it was her signature dessert. I resurrected the recipe a few Easter's ago. It's a wonderful treat!

yellow cake mix
1 3.5 oz pkg
instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c
vegetable oil
5 oz
galliano liqueur
2 oz
1/2 c
orange juice
1 c
confectioner's sugar

How to Make Harvey Wallbanger cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour on 10 inch bundt pan.
  • 2Combine cake mix and pudding mix in a large bowl. Blend in eggs, vegetable oil, 4 oz Galliano, 1 oz vodka and 4 oz of orange juice. Mix batter until smooth and thick. Pour into prepared pan.
  • 3Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove and place on cooling rack for another ten minutes, place on cake dish.
  • 4While cake is cooling make glaze. Combine remaining 1 oz Galliano, 1 oz vodka and 1 oz orange juice with confectioner's sugar. Blend until smooth. Spoon over warm cake. I double the glaze recipe, it tastes better with more stuff.
