Ingredients

whole wheat flour
1 c
all purpose flour
1 ¼ tsp
baking powder
1 pinch
salt
1 c
sugar

eggs
½ c
margarine
½ c
milk
¾ c
yogurt
½ tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
vanilla extract

ripe bananas (mashed)

How to Make Halfway Healthy Banana Loaf

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 F.
  • 2Mix first 5 dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • 3Rub margarine into the dry mix until it is all blended and crumbly.
  • 4Add eggs and mix in.
  • 5In a separate container, mix milk, vanilla and yogurt and add the baking soda.
  • 6Add milk and yogurt mixture to the flour mixture and stir well.
  • 7Add mashed bananas and stir until mixed.
  • 8Pour batter in a greased 9"x5" loaf pan and bake for 1 ½ hour.
