How to Make Granny Miller's Pound Cake
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Cream butter well; gradually add sugar; beat well after each addition. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla
- Sift flour, measure and add by folding in a little at a time by hand.
- Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan (Mama always put wax paper in her tube pan). Pour in batter and bake at 350º about 45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean.
- Cool before removing from pan.
