How to Make Grandmom Elaine's Crumb Cake
- Combine butter, brown & white sugar, and cinnamon to make crumbs. Set aside and make the cake.
- Cream butter, then gradually add sugar, then add the egg yolks.
- Mix alternately with milk and sifted dry ingredients.
- Add vanilla and lastly fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Pour batter and sprinkle on crumbs.
- Bake in a preheated oven, at 350 degrees, for 35 minutes.
