grandma's wacky cake

I regret I do not have a frosting recipe for this cake as I make without using any measurements. It is quite good with a chocolate frosting though. My grandma always put a couple tablespoons of coffee in her chocolate frosting makes it quite delicious!

- 3 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 10 tablespoons cooking oil
- 2 cups cold water
How To Make grandma's wacky cake

Step 1Combine all dry ingredients (my grandmother always sifted them together)and blend together in a baking dish

Step 2make 3 holes in the dry mixture

Step 3In the first hole put vanilla, in the second hole put vinegar, in the third hole put cooking oil

Step 4Pour cold water over all and mix until smooth.

Step 5Bake in a greased and floured pan. can be done in a 13X9 or two 9 inch rounds. Bake at 350 for 30 mins
