This is a cake my grandma made often in the summertime. I have loved since the first time I had it and I make this cake all summer long and remember my grandma every time I make it...I miss u grandma

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 package vanilla pudding
1 small bowl cool whip
1 can pineapple tidbits, undrained
1 can mandarin oranges, drained save juice

How To Make grandma's summer cake

Step 1

prepare yellow cake mix as directed on box except add enough water to mandarin orange juice to make desired amount for cake preparation. Add mandarin oranges and mix. Pour into prepared 9x13 pan and bake.

Step 2

in separate bowl, combine pudding mix, pineapple, and cool whip. Refrigerate until ready to top cake.
Step 3

cool cake until completely cooled then top with cool whip topping. Enjoy and refrigerate uneaten cake to keep topping from going sour.
