A friend of ours had this recipe handed down to him from his grandmother in Maine. It's a different spin on cheesecake. It's very moist and delicious.

Ingredients
- FOR THE CRUST
- 1 box cake mix, any flavor (minus 1 cup)
- 1 - egg
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- - mix well. grease 13x9 cake pan, mold mixture into pan on bottom and sides
- FILLING
- 3 - 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup reserved cake mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make grandma's cheescake

Step 1Mix the filling until well blended. Pour over crust. Bake at 300 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Cool completely before serving.

Step 2Hints: for lemon cheesecake, use lemon cake mix. For strawberry cheesecake, use strawberry cake mix, etc. You can use pie filling of choice for the top.
