2 stickbutter, room temperature
1 csour cream
1 1/2 tspvanilla extract
3 csifted cake flour
1/4 tspbaking soda
How to Make Grandma Pond's Pound Cake
- Cream butter and sugar in large bowl.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Mix in sour cream and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add in sifted cake flour and baking soda. Don't over mix or the cake will be heavy.
- Bake 1 hr. 15 min on 350 degrees and then lower temperature to 325 until done. Test with cake tester - don't overcook.
Melts in your mouth!
