grandma caldwell's texas cake
(1 RATING)
Grandma always made and decorated this cake for each of us on our birthday. Now that Grandma has past on my brother and his family like for me to carry on the tradition. My children love it, also. (When I was a young girl Grandma taught me how to bake and cook. We tried this recipe and I forgot to put in the baking soda which helps it to rise and my cake had no life in it. It took us a little time to figure out what I'd done wrong. We had a good laugh!
