Ingredients

2 cups finely chopped rhubarb
1 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour

How To Make grandma bruce's rhubarb upside down cake

Step 1

Put 2 c finely chopped rhubarb into 8x8 pan

Step 2

Sprinkle rhubarb with 1 cup brown sugar
Step 3

Mix 1 egg, 1/4 c sugar, 1/2 c milk, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1 c flour.
Step 4

Pour batter over rhubarb
Step 5

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
Step 6

Turn upside down on plate when done.
