Ingredients
- 3 cups raw carrots, grated
- 4 - eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 tablespoons vanilla
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- FROSTING
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
How To Make grandma brownfield's carrot cake

Step 1Mix all ingredients together except carrots. Stir carrots in last.

Step 2Bake 25 to 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven in a 9x13 cake pan.

Step 3Frosting: Melt 1 stick of butter. Add brown sugar, boil 2 minutes, stirring over low heat. Add milk, bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cool. Add powdered sugar.
