gram's pineapple cake
This is my Grandma's cake recipe. Not to disclose my age (ha ha) but she was born in 1929 and has long since passed. I have never tried this recipe but other in my family say it is the best. So if you make it please let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crisco
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup crushed pineapple (small can)
- 2-1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 - egg whites beaten until stiff
How To Make gram's pineapple cake

Step 1Cream Crisco and add sugar and pineapple.

Step 2Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. Add a portion of flour mixture alternating with water & vanilla to the above creamed mixture.

Step 3Once everything has been combined fold into the beaten egg whites. Pour into your cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.
