1Cream butter and sugar together till light and fluffy
Add salt and flavorings(I use almond extract, lemon, chocolate or whatever flavor you like)
2Add flour and an egg, beating well after each. When all the flour and eggs are mixed in the batter, beat for another 2-4 minutes at high speed. The air you beat into the cake will make it rise, so it is important that it is beat well.
3Bake at 350 degrees for one hour in a well greased tube pan. Check if done by inserting a toothpick near the center of pan.
