again this is cheaper to make than to buy, cos u can make up as much as u like and store in container. i'd put it in the fridge until ready to use.

    1 about large zip lock baggie

    1-2 cups flaked coconut
  • ·
    food coloring of choice.
  • ·
    lay out paper towel
  • ·
    airtight container for storage

How to Make grace's home made tinted coconut flakes

Step-by-Step

  1. in zip lock baggie, place 1-2 cups of flaked coconut. put 2-4 drops of desired food coloringin baggie.
  2. work quickly as it will obsorbe fast. beat pound shake and massage the coconut until its desired color.
  3. place on paper towel for a few mins to dry. then store in air tite container and place in frig til ready to use.
  4. when ready to use take out of fridge and let set for about 30 mins with lid off. then use
