I'VE MADE THESE SOOOOOO MANY TIMES FOR ME AND DOUG AND FOR GIFTS ECT... EVERYONE SEEMS TO LOVE THEM. HOPE U WILL TO

Ingredients

  • - 2 boxes spice cake mix made according to directions u want a thicker batter in order for it to hold the fruit ect........
  • - 1-2 tubs of candied green cherries sliced in 1/2's and 1-2 tubs candied red cherries cut into 1/2s
  • - t tubs of candied mix fruit[not tart]
  • - 1tabsp immitation rum.2 boxes of vaniila pudding added to cake batter
  • - 1-2 tubs red candied pineapple and 1-2 green candied pineapple
  • - 2 tubs of cream cheese frosting
  • - 1-1 1/2 pounds pecan 1/2's
  • - about 1-2 cups chopped walnuts in cake batter

  • Step 1
    PLACE ALL INGREDIENTS IN LARGE MIXING BOWL. EXCEPT FOR PECANS AN FROSTING AND PINEAPPLE SLICES[U SLICE THE CANDIED PINEAPPLE TO MAKE A PINWHEEL LOOK. BATTER SHOULD BE THICK

    POUR INTO OBLONG PAN SPRAYED WITH PAM. THEN POUR IT ABOUT 1/2 WAY UP PAN MAYBE JUST UNDER 1/2. PLACE INTO PREHEAT OVEN ON 350 FOR ABOUT 35-45 MINS CHECK WITH TOOTHPIC WHEN IT COMES OUT CLEAN TAKE OUT OF OVEN
  • Step 3
    LET COOL COMPLETELY. CUT INTO SQAURES AND PUT ON RACK. THEN FROST EACH ONE INDIVIDUALLY. PLACE PECAN HALFE FLAT SIDE DOWN. NOW HAVE UR PINEAPPLE SLICES SLICED TO MAKE PINWHEEL AROUND PECAN 1/2. THEN ITS 1 SLICE RED, THEN GREEN THEN RED TIL ITS A PINWHEEL ON TOP BARS
