1 box golden butter cake mix
1 - egg
1 stick butter (softened)
3/4 cup chopped pecans
FILLING
2 - eggs
1 box powdered sugar (16 oz)
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)

How To Make gooey butter cake (bars)

Step 1

Mix together first 4 ingredients and press into a greased 9x13 pan

Step 2

Filling: Combine next 4 ingredients in mixing bowl. Mix together with mixer for 5 min. (don't shorten the time). Pour filling over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 min.
