gooey butter cake

From Paula Deen. First time I made this, I gave out to the neighbors. Everyone loved it, even had some of the neighbor kids run up to me saying how good it was!

Ingredients
- 18 1/4 ounces yellow cake mix (1 box)
- 1 - egg
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
How To Make gooey butter cake

Step 1Preheat oven at 350 degrees F

Step 2Combine cake mix, 1 egg, and butter. Mix well and then pat mixture on a greased 13 x 9 in baking pan. (This is the crust)

Step 3In large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add 2 eggs, vanilla, butter and beat together.

Step 4Add powdered sugar and mix well, spread mixture over cake mix

Step 5Bake 40-50 min, center should be a little gooey.

Step 6Let cake cool then dust cake with powdered sugar and enjoy!
