Ingredients

One package yellow cake mix prepared according to pkg instructions in 9 x 13" pan
29 ounces peach slices, well drained
1 cup light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
1/2 cup heavy cream

How To Make golden glory picnic cake

Step 1

Bake cake according to package instructions. When done remove from oven and quickly arrnage peackes over the top of the cake.

Step 2

Sprinkle with sugar, nutmeg and nuts. Pour melted butter over top, then pour cream on top of that.
Step 3

Return to over for 10 minutes until topping is lightly brown. Serve when cooled. EXCELLENT !
