Hello Everyone, I found this recipe in a magazine I get called All You. I really enjoyed it and thought all of you might like it. This is a recipe I shared with my swap partner this month. It's great for Easter.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter, unsalted softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup milk

How To Make golden cupcakes

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a muffin tin with liners; set aside.
  • Step 2
    Using an electric mixer, cream butter and sugar at medium-high speed until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each. Mix in vanilla, baking powder and salt at low speed. Gently blend in half of flour. Mix in milk then remaining flour at low speed until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Spoon batter in equal amounts into prepared cups. Bake until a tester inserted in middle of cake comes out clean, about 20 minutes. Let cool completely before decorating.
