Ingredients
- 1 cup walnuts, shelled
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, light
- 5 large eggs
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice, fresh
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- - fresh berries to serve on side
How To Make glazed walnut cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Butter & flour 9 inch round cake pan.

Step 2Place walnuts, flour, baking powder, salt & cinnamon in a food processor & blend until finely chopped.

Step 3Add brown sugar & eggs and process until smooth.

Step 4Pour the batter into the cake pan & bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center vomes out clean. Remove to a wire rack & cool in pan for 5 minutes.

Step 5Turn cake out of the pan & cool completely on a rack.

Step 6Combine honey, orange juice, & vanilla in a small saucepan over medium low heat & bring to a boil. Poke the cooled cake all over with a toothpick & brush liberally with the glaze. Slice the cake & serve fresh berries on the side.
