Glazed Cherry Crumb Cake

1 pkg18 - 1/4 ounces yellow cake mix, divided
1 call purpose flour
1 pkgfleischmann's rapidrise yeast
2/3 cwarm water
2eggs, lightly beaten
221 ounce cans (lucky leaf) regular or premium cherry pie filling
1/3 ccold butter, cubed
1 cconfectioner's sugar
1 Tbspkaro light corn syrup
How to Make Glazed Cherry Crumb Cake
- In a mixing bowl, mix 2 cups of cake mix, flour, yeast and water until well blended.
Stir in egg. Transfer to a greased 13x9 inch pan.
Gently spoon both cans of the pie filling over batter.
- In a small bowl, place remaining cake mix, cut in butter until crumbly.
Sprinkle over filling.
- Bake 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack.
Combine the confectioners' sugar, corn syrup and enough water to achieve desired consistency.
Drizzle over warm coffee cake.
Yield: 12-16 servings.
