Actually cake mix, with homeade peanut butter frosting. This one is requested by family and friends alot. I enjoy making it because its quick and easy. However, my favorite cakes are the ones I make from scratch (Granny's recipes).

How to Make Ginger's Peanut Butter Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Prepare 2 - 8" or 9" round cake pans. Prepare cake mix per box directions, I substitute skim mild for the water. Divide evenly into pans and bake until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely and frost.
  3. For the frosting: Beat cream cheese and peanut butter together, add powdered sugar and beat until creamy and smooth. If it is too stiff to spread add milk a few drops at a time to achieve desired consistency.
