  • 1 stick stick margarine
  • 3 - slightly beaten egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 - cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/3 cups coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts ( i use black walnuts

How To Make german chocolate frosting

  • Step 1
    Combine the marg...egg yolks..vanilla...evap milk together and stir over medium heat until thickened - about 12 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Then add the coconut and nuts
  • Step 3
    Cool and spread on cake.
