During high school days, a friend invited me over for Sunday lunch. Her mother made this delicious cake. My sick dad requested it for Easter lunch so it is still a favorite of ours.

Ingredients
- 1 box duncan hines yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup crisco oil
- 4 - eggs
- 1 can (11 oz.) mandarin oranges with juice
- - cook all the above in 13 x 9 cake pan approx 30 minutes according to box directions
- TOPPING:
- 1 large cool whip
- 1 large vanilla pudding mix
- 1 large can crushed pineapple (20 ozs.) with juice
- - mix all 3 ingredients together and spread over cooled cake

Step 1OPTIONAL: May add fresh berries to the top of your cake or chopped pecans. This is a very moist, fruity cake and when you add raspberries and black berries or blueberries to the top, it is indeed special. Enjoy!

Step 2*NOTE* You may swap the Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix for Butter Cake Mix. Use a half cup of Crisco with the D.H. Butter Cake Mix also. (I made this recipe this morn with a D.H. Butter Cake Mix since I didn't have a yellow cake mix.)
