- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 - eggs, beaten
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans
How To Make georgia cornbread (not really cornbread)
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish. In large bowl stir together sugar, brown sugar, eggs and oil until smooth. Add flour, vanilla & pecans; mix well. Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 35 minutes.
-
Step 2Note: I sometimes use 1 cup finely chopped pecans and 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans. It's fine either way!
