gentlemen's banana cake
This cake is soo yummy and moist! I took this cake to a potluck at a "fancy" party about 45 years ago. The Gentlemen asked their wife to get the recipe!!, I was a little embarassed to tell them it was a "doctored" cake mix!!! but I did...Thus the name "Gentleman's Banana Cake" ENJOY!

Ingredients
- 2 - bananas
- 1 box yellow cake mix (not with pudding)
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- 3 - eggs
- 1/2 cup walnut pieces
- BANANA FROSTING
- 2 - banana
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
How To Make gentlemen's banana cake

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees, bake for 38-43 minutes.

Step 2butter and flour a bundt pan

Step 3smash bananas in electric mixer. add 1 box of yellow cake mix & the directions according to the back of cake box, mix until creamy. add walnuts

Step 4bake and then flip cake onto a plate. let cake cool

Step 5FOR BANANA FROSTING mash bananas in mixer, add rest of ingredients, beat high speed until creamy. add little half and half to thin if needed

Step 6cool cake completely, frost and sprinkle walnut pieces on top of cake. ENJOY! :)
