game day chocolate cake
There is no tailgating in my country, Japan so I had no idea what the tailgating foods are but had to make something when I was invited game day party. Everyone loves chocolate and I had chocolates! Since it was a football game party, I created football looking chocolate cake using dried apricots and sliced almonds. I thought the food for the game day should be easy to eat. I cut the cake into bite size (or little bit bigger) so that everyone could grab and eat easily then focus on the game. Easy to cook and fun to eat. Rich chocolate cake with a little bit of tanginess and crunch.
