Ingredients

3 c
unsweeten chunky apple
2 c
flour
1 c
brown sugar or splenda brown sugar
1/4 c
maple syrup
1 c
canned pumpkin
3
eggs, beaten
1/3 c
vegetable oil
2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/4 tsp
nutmeg
pinch salt
2 c
buttercream frosting
non-stick cooking spray

How to Make Full of Fall Cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1Liberally spray the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Put applesauce in the bottom and spread evenly to cover.
  • 2In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, syrup,pumpkin, eggs, vegetable oil, baking powder, baking soda,salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
    Beat with electric mixer on medium until combined , and then for another 2 minutes, scraping the side of the bowl. Use a spatula to transfer the cake mixture to the slow cooker and over the applesauce mixture.
  • 3Double layer some paper towels and place over the top of the cooker to absorb any moisture. Cover the slow cooker as usual, and cook on High for 2 hours or until to toothpick inserted in the center come out clean. When cool, frost with buttercream frosting.
