Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter...not margarine
  • 4
    squares unsweetened chocolate (1 ounce each)
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • FUDGE TOPPING:

  • 4 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1
    12 ounce pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1
    12 ounce pkg. milk chocolate chips
  • 1 jar(s)
    7 ounce size of marshmallow cream
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Fudge-TOPPED Brownies

Step-by-Step

  1. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat. Blend in sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
  2. In heavy saucepan, combine sugar, milk and butter; bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in chips, cream and vanilla; beat until smooth. Add nuts. Spread over warm brownies. freeze until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares.
