This is a great coffee cake. You can use any kind of pie filling.

Ingredients For fruity coffee cake

  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1-1/2 c
    plus 3 tbsp sugar, divided
  • 3/4 c
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    orange juice
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    21 oz can apple pie filing, or pie filling of your choice
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make fruity coffee cake

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a bundt pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, cream eggs, 1-1/2 cups sugar, oil, orange juice and vanilla until smooth.

    Add flours and baking powder, mix well. Pour 1/2 the batter into pan. Spread pie filling over batter. In small bowl, mix remaining sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1 tsp over filling.

    Spoon remaining batter over cinnamon mix. Sprinkle w/ remaining cinnamon mix. Bake 15 mins. Reduce heat to 300. Bake 1 hr, or until a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
