I found this recipe in a cook book, my family and c/o workers simply love it you could also serve it with whipped cream

21 oz cherry pie filling
1 can(s)
20 oz crushed pineapple undrained
1 box
18 1/4 oz yellow cake mix
1/2 c
chopped pecans
1/2 c
butter 1 sitck, chilled and cut into small pieces
vanilla ice cream optional

How to Make Fruit Dump Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 Grease 9-10 inch round baking dish.Pour the pie filling and pineapple into the prepared dish.
  • 2Spoon the dry cake mix over the fruit.Sprinkle with pecans
  • 3Dot the top of the mixture in the dish with the chilled butter pieces
  • 4Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out cclean,30-35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temp, with the ice cream Enjoy
