I found this recipe in a cook book, my family and c/o workers simply love it you could also serve it with whipped cream

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 1 can(s)
    20 oz crushed pineapple undrained
  • 1 box
    18 1/4 oz yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c
    butter 1 sitck, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • ·
    vanilla ice cream optional

How to Make Fruit Dump Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 Grease 9-10 inch round baking dish.Pour the pie filling and pineapple into the prepared dish.
  2. Spoon the dry cake mix over the fruit.Sprinkle with pecans
  3. Dot the top of the mixture in the dish with the chilled butter pieces
  4. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out cclean,30-35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temp, with the ice cream Enjoy
