I found this recipe in a cook book, my family and c/o workers simply love it you could also serve it with whipped cream

Ingredients

  • 1 can 21 oz cherry pie filling
  • 1 can 20 oz crushed pineapple undrained
  • 1 box 18 1/4 oz yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup butter 1 sitck, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • - vanilla ice cream optional

How To Make fruit dump cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 Grease 9-10 inch round baking dish.Pour the pie filling and pineapple into the prepared dish.
  • Step 2
    Spoon the dry cake mix over the fruit.Sprinkle with pecans
  • Step 3
    Dot the top of the mixture in the dish with the chilled butter pieces
  • Step 4
    Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out cclean,30-35 minutes. Serve warm or at room temp, with the ice cream Enjoy
