  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup coconut

How To Make fruit cocktail cake, mom's

  • Step 1
    Combine flour, sugar, egg, soda, salt and fruit in a mixer and mix 3 minutes. Pour into a greased 8x8 pan. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over cake. Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes.
