How to Make Fruit Cocktail Cake
1Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and brown sugar.
2Add soda, flour, fruit cocktail and vanilla. Blend thoroughly.
3Spray 9x13 inch cake pan with nonstick spray. Pour cake batter into pan.
4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
5For icing, in medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, evaporated milk and flour. Slowly bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
6Cook 2 minutes and add nuts and coconut. Spread warm over warm cake. Can be served warm or cold.
