- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 can fruit cocktail, in syrup
- 2 large eggs
- FROSTING
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup coconut, shredded
How To Make fruit cocktail cake

Step 1Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder,and salt, Then add fruit cocktail with juice and 2 eggs. Bake in greased and floured 13x9 pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Step 2Mix sugar, milk, vanilla, and butter. Mix well, place on medium burner and when it comes to a rolling boil, lower heat and cook 7 minutes or til thickened. Add nuts and coconuts. Pour over warm cake.
